Reza Pahlavi said; “This is not about me, this is about people of Iran and the future of that land” in an interview with CNN On October 09,2001; answering to the question “what is your plan if you return to Iran?”

Iran has long been governed by an unpopular and undemocratic regime. The change of situation after two decades of oppression, war and agony seems all the more plausible.

However, it is worth asking what effect the Reza Pahlavi’s return to homeland can have if he chooses to become a candidate to an office in order to administer the affairs of the country.
