Before the Arab invasion of Persia/Iran, our country was flourishing, advances in the various fields of studies were being made and we had many distinguished intellectuals, artsmen, craftsmen, scientists, astronomers, mathematicians, poets, etc.... Iran was flourishing, people could chose their own religion thanks to Cyrus the Great! Zoroastrianism was the major religion. Now since the Arab invasion of glorious Persia, a new religion was imposed on the Persians. A dull and dark period of our history had taken root. A religion who had been created by arab nomads, to fit their way of life.
The religion came to be known as Islam. The arabs imposed their religion on our ancestors by the force of the sword and no other religions were accepted (Zoroastrianism being the major one at the time). The Persians lived under arab rule for decades and adopted this religion of Islam. Women were lowered in their social status to that of nothing. They were worth nothing compared to a man; they had to cover their bodies from head to toe; they had to get permission to go on trips!; they had no place in leadership positions whatsoever!; men had to grow beards; mosques were built from all the funds that were collected, all other studies except islamic studies were virtually abandoned, men where forced to pray 5 times a day facing an unknown city called Mecca; clerics took over all leadership positions and ruled people's way of life according to the Koran or Sharia law (which is one of the most brutal & unhumane laws ever invented); the list goes on forever.
The arabs suceeded in changing our prosperous way of life! Examples of today's islamic Iran are:
Boys & girls (not being family) can't walk together, they are separated wherever, no parties are allowed for the iranian youth, music (western & corrupt) is not allowed, islamic verses are encouraged, women are still worth half of what a man is worth, still have to cover themselves up in blankets, no opposition parties are allowed except islamics ones that are to the SUPREME LEADERS' SATISFACTION, hangings/amputations/torture/killings/abductions are carried out in the name of ISLAM!
Ridiculous claims such as waging WAR AGAINST GOD! are used in the Islamic republic by the mollahs and recently dogs are considered dirty animals and should all be eradicated. The most disgusting thing is that when the Ayatollah Khomeini took over in Iran, in one of his speeches/writings he says that infants can be used to sodomize or be used for sexual favors but if the infant is hurt the perpetrator will be held accountable.
Now how disgusting and UNHUMAN is this! He said this in the name of ISLAM! ISLAM condones these kind of barbaric acts! Are we in the 21st century or back in the deserts of Arabia 2000 B.C. ?????
It's time that Iranians/Persians wake up from this nightmare! Open your eyes is Islam really the peaceful religion clerics say it is?
Is it really reformable to today's standards? Is islamic life really a good way of life? Does Islam represent Persian culture and values!? Does God really think women are worth nothing compared to men?
Do we really want to live under Islam and its barbaric laws!? Do we want freedom of Speech, Assembly, Religion etc?!
Do we want to be free?
Do we want to be able to make our own choices (all of these which are denied under ISLAM!)???
-People of Iran have in mind that our actions today might secure a safe and prosperous future for our kids and future generations to come! A future where our kids will be able to enjoy life to the fullest having their human rights respected by all, and all their freedoms guaranteed! And first and foremost a healthy and prosperous life awaiting them. |
