PayandehIran.org [http://www.PayandehIran.org] is seeking its member's opinion on the change of its logo as presented on its current web site.

Our logo is currently a map of Iran which we have come to realize does not truly represent what our mission and goal is. Recently a friend submitted an idea for consideration as a logo for PayandehIran.org. We simply liked his idea and would like to also know your opinion.

The symbolism portrayed in this logo is quite strong.  As we all know very well our flag has a 3000 years of history behind it and the symbols of Sun and the Lion are truly not representative of any family or governments of our past [History of our flag].  The symbolism of Sun and Lion are complemented by the presence of the torch which we feel represents knowledge and truth.

In this spirit we like to hear your opinion and we value your vote.  Please help us make a decision by voting on this logo.  Votes will be tallied by November 1, 2002.  At that date we will let you know of our decision which should be clearly evident by the counts of Yes and No votes.
