At times we are asked why this site is developed or what
our primary goal is. We feel that perhaps it is time to discuss
what is the primary objective of this project as well as the
various initiative of those involved with this site.
Over the years, we all have come to believe that we, Iranians,
are either the victim of bigger forces influencing our lives
or that our rulers have destroyed our country or who knows..
what else! The unpardonable mistake we all make is that we
never think we, on our own, have caused the outcome and not
anybody else. We always need “someone else” to rise
up and make a change or we need a father figure to keep us
united.
It is perhaps time to look a little deeper at ourselves and
perhaps shed some light on the sad reality that it could very
well be our own fault and not that of others. Iran does not
deserve better government, Iran deserves better Iranians!
It is perhaps time, not for a political revolution, but for
a cultural revolution. It is time to think of the glorious
Iran and "good" Iranians, despite all that we want
to believe.
Can our land be “Iran” again? …If only Iran
had citizens that cared!
It is our intention to bring out our similarities in the
face of diversity and perhaps reach a point that we all can
see how much all of us have in common. A commonality that
can most definitely be used to make us 70 million strong while
cherishing our differences that can give us the diversity
needed to become a nation strong.
So we beg of you to check out the various initiatives that
we have undertaken and help us refine or develop this path.
It is a long journey but one that together we could easily
travel.
